KARACHI: On Friday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices were recorded at PKR 8.864 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,367.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5.605 billion, followed by copper 771.235 million, currencies through COTS PKR 703.417 million, silver PKR 669.605 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 471.018 million, natural gas PKR 317.274 million, platinum PKR 113.588 million, DJ PKR 90.828 million, SP500 PKR 62.055 million and crude oil PKR 59.795 million.
In agriculture commodities one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 7.919 million and 9 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 4.893 million were traded.
