KARACHI: On Monday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.493 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,426.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.601 billion, followed by silver PKR 1.068 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 518.350 million, platinum PKR 441.605 million, currencies through COTS PKR 399.408 million, natural gas PKR 315.765 million, DJ PKR 80.470 million, crude oil PKR 33.753 million, copper PKR 21.760 million and SP500 PKR 13.227 million.
In agriculture commodities one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.462 million 2 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 1.102 million were traded.
