PMEX daily trading report

KARACHI: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 5,033.

The traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and Indices was recorded at PKR 9.673 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,491.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6.984 billion, followed by silver PKR 1.193 billion, Currencies through COTS PKR 302.550 million, copper PKR 268.372 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 257.287 million, DJ PKR 234.188 million, crude oil PKR 172.435 million, platinum PKR 153.086 million, natural gas PKR 96.553 million and SP500 PKR 11.353 million.

In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 8.500 million were traded.
