KARACHI: Gold on Wednesday mounted to a new record high of Rs128700 per tola, up by Rs4800 on the local market, traders said.

Gold was available for Rs110340 per 10 grams, up by Rs4116 on the local market, and cited for $2041 per ounce, up by $66 internationally.

Silver was traded for Rs1630 per tola, up by Rs30; Rs1397.46 per 10 grams, up by Rs111.46 and $26.80 an ounce, traders said.
