KARACHI: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,831. The traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.197 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,020.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5.545 billion, followed by silver PKR 718.916 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 522.949 million, currencies through COTS PKR 509.845 million, DJ PKR 282.814 million, platinum PKR 274.603 million, crude oil PKR 176.367 million, natural gas PKR 98.472 million, SP500 PKR 36.256 million and copper PKR 31.496 million.
