Spain's July jobless falls by 2.33pc m/m to 3.77mn

The number of people in Spain registering as jobless fell by 2.33pc in July from a month earlier, or by 89,849 people, leaving 3.77 million people out of work as the country continues to adapt to the easing of coronavirus restrictions, data from the Labour Ministry showed on Tuesday.

The number of jobless people had risen in June by 0.13pc with the nationwide lockdown coming to an end. Overall, there were 761,601 more jobless people in July than in the same month a year ago.
