Pakistan name 16-member squad for first Test

The five-day game will be played in Manchester from August 5.

Pakistan on Tuesday named 16-member squad for first Test against England, starting from August 5 at Old Trafford, Manchester.

As per details, the team management has left out all-rounder Faheem Ashraf and pacers Usman Shinwari, Wahab Riaz and Imran Khan from the 20-member shortlist that was earlier announced.

The final two Tests will be played at the Rose Bowl from Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 21.

Pakistan's squad for the first England Test:

Azhar Ali (c), Babar Azam, Abid Ali, Asad Shafiq, Fawad Alam, Imamul Haq, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Naseem Shah, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, Sohail Khan, Yasir Shah.
