Pakistan gets permanent membership of SCO Youth Council

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran (SAPM) Khan on Youth Affairs Usman Dar announced on Thursday that Pakistan has become the newest permanent member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s (SCO) Youth Council.

In a video message on Twitter, the SAPM said that this recognition is due to the PM's efforts his initiatives for the youth. He said this achievement is of great importance for the youth of Pakistan who will now be able to represent their country at SCO Youth Council meetings and its exchange programmes.

He said they will also take part in the skill development programs of the SCO Youth Council.
