PMEX daily trading report

KARACHI: On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,383.

The traded value of metals, energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.834 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,774.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 4.646 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 1.269 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 736.626 million, crude oil PKR 589.360 million, DJ PKR 502.141 million, silver PKR 439.782 million, natural gas PKR 282.002 million, platinum PKR 193.429 million, SP500 PKR 173.175 million and copper PKR 1.813 million.

In agriculture commodities, 6 lot of wheat amounting to PKR 24.362 million and 7 lot of cotton amounting to PKR 3.500 million were traded.
