Prevailing situation in the Middle East and bilateral relations came under discussion during the meeting, said a press release.
Both sides agreed that there was potential to further improve traditionally close ties between the two brotherly countries.
It was also decided to work together closely especially in Parliamentary diplomacy as well as visits of scholars especially Shaikh –ul- Azhar who had taught in international Islamic University in past.
It was also mutually agreed to make Pak-Egypt friendship Group more active.
It is pertinent to mention here that, leader of the House in Senate Senator Raja Muhammad Zafar –ul- Haq ad served as ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt during 1985-86.
