Chief Justice Lahore High Court while dismissing a petition of a doctor Azjar observed that posting and transfer of doctors was entirely an administrative matter of government and the court would not interfere in it. Petitioner Dr Azhar of Jinnah Hospital submitted that he was the only chemotherapist at the hospital hence he was transferred illogically. He requested the court to set aside his transfer orders.
Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed observed that Pakistan was the only country in the world where the doctors were observing strikes. He regretted that patients were facing immense problems due to the strike of the doctors.
