Irfan Qadir new Attorney General

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday appointed Irfan Qadir as Attorney General for Pakistan with immediate effect. Irfan Qadir was working as law secretary and had hardly spent one month in the ministry. Qadir also worked as Consultant Legal Affairs, President's Secretariat before his appointment in the law ministry. He had once questioned the restoration of the top judiciary by the present government.
Meanwhile, Maulvi Anwarul Haq has been made advisor to the President's House while former Sindh High Court judge Yasmeen Abbasi has been appointed as Secretary Law and Justice.
The reshuffling has been made after the appointment of Farooq H Naek as Law Minister on Wednesday.
