Ch Nisar Ali Khan said that all parties were unanimous over the inclusion of Dr Aafia Siddiqui's issue in the recommendations but the government excluded it along with the condition in relation to the delivery of half of Nato supplies through railways.
Addressing the joint session of parliament, he said it was responsibility of the government to run administrative matters, "that is why the issue of Dr Aafia Siddiqui has not been included in the document."
He emphasised that Pakistanis detained in the US prisons should be brought back to the country. He said that after the adoption of a unanimous resolution, the Prime Minister was required to hold out an assurance that there would be no strike on any Pakistani post by the Nato forces and there would be an immediate cessation of drone strikes. He also asked the Prime Minister whether the concessions given to India on civil nuclear programme would also be provided to Pakistan.
