The United States has restored the Coalition Support Fund (CSF) for Pakistan and finance ministry has received some amount out of outstanding $3 billion, Aaj News reported. Quoting a federal minister, the channel said the US had to pay $3 billion in terms of Coalition Support Fund and now the finance ministry had received some money out of this outstanding amount.
Recent contacts between the military and political leaderships of both the countries played a very vital role towards restoration of the Coalition Support Fund.
Moreover, the Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister also played a vital role in this regard. During his recent visit, the Saudi dignitary also addressed the concerns of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) and JUI (F), the channel added.
