Book fair opens at SU

A three-day book fair opened at Allama I.I.Kazi Central Library of the University of Sindh on Tuesday. Acting Vice Chancellor, University Professor Dr Parveen Shah inaugurated the book fair.
Prominent book sellers from Karachi, Hyderabad and Institute of Sindhology have set-up their book stalls at the book fair, which will continue for 3 days. The book stalls have displayed the books on almost all subjects including Art, Culture, History, Anthropology , Archeology, Information and Library Science, Media, Public Relations, Law, International Relations, Autobiographies of different personalities of the world, Internet, Computer Science, Plants, Psychology, Philosophy, Pharmacy, Chemistry ,Health and Physical Education, Urdu, Sindhi and English Literature, Fine Arts, Geology, Geography, Women Development Studies, Economics, Islam, Agriculture, Sociology, Public Administration, Pakistan Studies, Management and Business Studies, Information Technology, dictionaries and other disciplines.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Shah said that book fair was a regular feature of the University of Sindh, organised every year to provide an opportunity to the students and scholars to buy books of their interest on discount rate.
