Rain/dust-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Northeast Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next 24 hours, Met office said on Tuesday. "A fresh western disturbance is likely to affect Upper parts of the country from Monday night and likely to persist for next two to three days," the office said in its daily weather report.
It said hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country during the next 24 hours. It said Nawabshah and Chhor emerged as the hottest places of the country in the last 24 hours with maximum temperature of 43 degree centigrade. It said mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However scattered dust-thunderstorm light rain is likely at isolated places of upper Punjab, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan in the next 48 hours.
