Four deaths reported in Karachi accidents

At least four people were reported killed from various localities of the Sindh metropolis here on Monday. Police and rescue workers said that a rickshaw driver Mehmood Islam was killed while two others, including 30-year-old Rubina and her five-year-old daughter Amber, injured when a passenger bus rammed into the rickshaw in the limits of Shah Latif police station.
Police said the body of the deceased and the injured persons had been shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medical examination and treatment. A three-day-old body of a five-year-old boy, who used to live in the Sohrab Goth area, was found from a drain in the Shafiq Colony falling under the New Karachi Industrial Area police station. The victim was reported missing three days ago. He was second among four siblings.
In another incident, a man named Syed Alam Shah, 60, lost his life while crossing railway tracks at Malir 15 area, KKF sources said. A 22-year-old man named Nabi Bux was electrocuted near Memon Goth check post No3 in the limits of Malir Cannt police station.
