People from different walks of life on Monday offered prayers for 124 soldiers and 11 civilians trapped in Siachen after an avalanche smashed the Pakistan Army camp. Imtiaz Inayat Elahi Secretary Capital Administration and Development Division (CAAD), Zamarud Khan Managing Director Pakistan Batiul Mal (PBM) and senior officials of Federal Directorate of Education were present on the occasion. They also offered prayers at D-Chowk Islamabad.
The participants were holding placards and banners inscribed with different slogans including "Pakistan Army Zanda Bad, soldiers work for our safety and sacrifice their lives" and "pray for the lives of brave soldier".
