Advisor Chief Minister Punjab on Trade Affairs Muhammad Ali Mian has said that the provincial government has raised the issue of supply of natural gas to industry at federal level, besides giving it proposal of long and short-term power projects to overcome electricity crisis.
He was talking to the delegation of PML (N) Traders Wing who called on him on Friday. He also said that government making all out efforts to turn Punjab into a hub of economic activities by focusing mainly on infrastructure; education, health and transportation sectors.
Mian said the provincial government believed in public-private partnership and was taking business community on board on every issue, adding that a high-profile business community committee was being formed at provincial level that would help resolve the day-to-day issues being faced by the trade and industry. PML (N) Trader Wing Leaders Babar Mahmood, Sohail Sarfraz Manj. Malik Kamran Saleem, Waqar Siddique and Kabul were also present on the occasion.
