President Asif Ali Zardari once again launched broadside against the Sharif brothers, saying: "I know how to tackle to deal with arrogance of Punjabis". Speaking to party workers at Governor's House, President Zardari said that his party had not indulged in "Changa Manga politics". "Although PML (N) lacked a majority in Punjab, I allowed them to form government in the province. But it acted with Pharaonic conceit," he added.
He said he had previously been giving concessions to the Sharifs so that he could oust the then president, General Musharraf. According to him, he is fully aware of Sharifs' political strength. Zardari said that he would be visiting every division of Punjab before the next general election.
