President in Lahore: no representative of Punjab government present at airport

President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday reached Lahore, where he was received by Punjab Governor Latif Khosa at the airport. However, no representative of the provincial government was present at the airport to greet him. After reaching Lahore, President Zardari presided over a meeting of PPP Punjab's parliamentary party at Governor's House. He also met office-bearers of PPP Lahore.
The president also telephoned Jamaat-i-Islami leader Liaquat Baloch to condole the death of lattar's mother, who passed away recently.
