Girl students urged to devote energies towards acquiring knowledge

Advisor to CM Punjab, Begum Zakiya Shahnawaz has stressed upon the female students to devote their energies for getting knowledge so that the future of the country could be made bright. She was addressing an annual prize distribution ceremony of Dar-e-Arqam Girls High School, Military Accounts Co-operative Housing Society, College Road, Township, here Sunday.
Advocate Nadeem Nasir, Addl IG Punjab Police Humayun Raza, parents, teachers and students also attended the function. Begum Zakiya Shahnawaz said that education is not only a source of individual but also collective and national development. She said that our students are very talented and Punjab government wants that every child should get education. Begum Zakiya Shahnawaz said that Punjab government has launched a number of projects for the students. She said that laptops are being given to students on merit and opportunities of higher education are being provided to the talented students. She stressed the need for making collective efforts to achieve a prominent place in every sector.
