Security measures: SU students to get cards in different colours
The Deans Committee has decided to issue cards in different colours to the students of the various disciplines of the University of Sindh to strengthen the security measures taken for the improvement of the law and order at the Campus. The decision in this regard was taken in a meeting of the Deans Committee convened on Saturday.
Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Parveen Shah presided over the meeting, which was attended by the Pro Vice Chancellors of the University's Campuses, Registrar, Director Finance, Director Admissions and Controller of Examinations (Semester). The meeting also discussed the status of course work in various faculties, announcement of semester results, admission process and conduct of mid-term test in light of course work. The Director Admissions informed the meeting that process of the admissions had been completed and lists of the enrolled candidates for the session 2012 had been provided to all concerned teaching institutes and departments.
He further informed that process of the issuance of students cards was in process which would also be completed within due time. The Controller of Examination (semester) informed that 18 institutes and departments had sent their results while semester results of remaining teaching institutes and departments were in process and yet not received by the controller office. The Acting VC directed the Controller of Examination to issue a reminder to such institutes and department to send the semester results of awaiting candidates to the Controller office.
