A 6-member's delegation of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) had left for Sri Lanka to attend the Sri Lankan Expo 2012, which will be held on 64th Independence Day of Sri Lanka. The delegation is headed by the HCCI president Gohar Ullah, former president of the HCCI Sgafiq Ahmed Qureshi, Ziauddin Qureshi, Muhammad Shahid, Haji Muhammad Aslam Shaikh and other Industrialists.
On that occasion, Gohar Uallah said that the aim of visit to Sri Lanka is to enhance the trade relationship and investment between the two countries. He urged on the Sri Lankan Investors to give priority Pakistan for import and export as Pakistan in an ideal country for investment. He said that the textile, garment and spinning industries are already exporting products, which saw enormous development in Kotri Industrial estate in 2000. He further said that Sindh province is full of natural resources like gas, oil, coal and other natural resources so Sri Lankan business community can invest. Gohar Ullah said the delegation of (HCCI) will urge Sri Lankan traders to invest in Hyderabad specially in Sindh province.
