Job, career exposition held at FC College

Young generation is builder of every nation and Forman Christian College University (FCCU) is producing skilled and highly competent graduates. These graduates are prepared to take their role for the uplift of the country. These views were expressed by Dr Peter H Armacost, Rector of the University at the fourth Job and Career Expo held at FC College.
The department of career planning and placement has organised the expo on Wednesday. The 60 national and multinational organisations have participated. These organisations comprise of industry, life assurance, banking, NGO's, Media, FMCG, logistics and software houses. All the organisations offered significant number of jobs and internships with handsome salary packages to the FCC students.
These students are expected to graduate this June 2012. The human resource officials of the organisations have received CVs, interviewed the students as prospective employees. Moreover this expo is found very helping for the faculty for making Academia-Industrial Linkages. At the end Rector of the University Dr Peter H Armacost presented FCC memento to the representatives of participating organisations. Dr M. Kashif Fida, Director of Career Planning and Placement (CP&P) thanks the participants.
