International exposition: 'It is all about Chemistry' opens today

An International Travelling Expo titled "It is All About Chemistry" will be held at Allama Iqbal Open University, from March 28 to 30. Talking to APP, spokesperson Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Rehana Batool said PSF in collaboration with Embassy of France in Islamabad is organising this expo, as need for creating awareness about Chemistry and its applications is recognised all over the world.
"Chemistry is an exciting experimental science which makes us understand our world and makes our life easier". It is scientific study of matter, its properties and interactions with other matters and energy. She said study of Chemistry is critical in addressing challenges such as global climate change, in providing sustainable sources of clean water, food energy and in wellbeing of all people.
The science of chemistry and its applications produce medicines, fuels, metals and virtually all other manufactured products. PSF is playing its due role in this regard by popularisation of science and technology through funding for research, education and awareness programmes.
