Total open interest position at the futures counter during the week declined by Rs 226 million, down 9.8 percent on week-on-week basis to Rs 2.1 billion. The average daily volumes at the futures counter also declined by 11.2 percent on week-on-week basis to 11.7 million shares.
The futures spreads, on the other hand, increased by 1,074 bps on week-on-week basis to 23.27 percent. The top-5 scrips at the futures counter holding 67 percent of the total open interest were ENGRO, FFC, DGKC, POL and OGDC.
