Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Saturday President Pakistan Muslim League(N) Nawaz Sharif should refrain from criticising the coalition partners of Pakistan People's Party (PPP). Talking to mediamen here during a function at a Rawalpindi hotel, the Prime Minister said he read the statement of Nawaz Sharif about the government and its coalition partners.
Gilani said PPP's coalition partners can become allies of PML-N as no party will be in a position after the next elections to form the government with a simple majority. He said he respects Nawaz Sharif and he was expecting that Nawaz Sharif would congratulate the democratic government for completing its four years with success.
Nawaz Sharif never completed four years when he was in government; he said adding, "If the government had failed, it would not have completed its four years." Nawaz Sharif should not talk about disregarding of court orders, he said and added, "We respect courts more than Nawaz Sharif."
