The Taiwan Sugar Corp has purchased 23,000 tonnes of US corn and 12,000 tonnes of US soybeans in a tender for the same volume which closed on Thursday, European traders said. The corn was bought at $337.09 a tonne c&f. The soybeans were purchased at $2.08 c&f over the Chicago July soybean contract. Seller was said to be ADM. The tender had sought shipment between April 22-May 6 from the US Gulf Coast, or May 7-21 from the US Pacific Northwest.
