SQM's rally supports Seraiki language

Seraikistan Qaumi Movement (SQM) on Friday staged a demonstration under the leadership of Hameed Asghar Shaheen, its chief on Pakistan day for the protection of regional languages like Seraiki. The protestors burnt the effigy of those who were opposing the constitution of Sarakistan province on linguistic basis. Participants were shouting slogans in the favour of their demands.
Addressing the rally Hameed Asghar Shaheen said," we are struggling for the last five decades for the division of Punjab and creation of a new province, consisting on 21 districts like Dera Ismail Khan, Tank, Jhang, Mianwali, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan,Multan, Vehari, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Lodhran, Pakpattan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan, Khushab and Toba Tek Singh.
