The Transport Officer University of Sindh has lodged an FIR at Jamshoro Police Station on Wednesday evening against two unidentified motorcyclists on account of firing on University's 3 point buses. The incident of firing had taken place on Wednesday morning when three point buses of the University were on the way to carry students and employees to the University of Sindh.
Immediately after the incident, University's bus drivers observed sit-in in front of the University's transport workshop. The Registrar of the University rushed there and talked with employees and also assured that that security will be provided them. Meanwhile academic activities in the University of Sindh continued on Thursday at all teaching institutes and departments. The University's own buses for teachers, employees and students as well as private point buses for the students were plied from already fixed routs. The University administration has made vigilant security measures on the campus and adopted checking system at the main entrances to avoid any violence.
