Minister's car turns turtle

The car of Federal Minister for Law and Justice Maula Bakhsh Chandio turned turtle after hitting a footpath in the wee hours of Thursday in the limits of Kohsar Police Station. Police source said that the car bearing official number plate (JT-013) was being driven by Junaid, nephew of Maula Bakhsh Chandio.
Due to over speeding Junaid lost control over the vehicle and hit footpath at Jinnah Avenue near Kulsoom Plaza interchange as a result the minister's nephew received minor injuries and the police shifted him to Polyclinic Hospital for medical treatment, he said. Junaid was reportedly drunk at the time of the accident.
The minister for Law and Justice was not in the car at the time of the accident. However, Fiaz Tanoli, Station House Officer (SHO) Kohsar Police Station confirmed the accident and denied that Junaid, the nephew of the minister, was driving under the influence of liquor. The car was bearing official number plate.
