Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa on Wednesday said that those who are speculating on the change of the prime minister would have to face dismay. "Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani is prime minister and will be prime minister in future as well. The government will also complete its constitutional tenure," he asserted while talking to mediamen at Bahauddin Zakariya University after presiding over a meeting of the BZU senate.
The constitution had given immunity to President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and writing a letter to the Swiss government would be tantamount to violation of the law. He also criticised Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz for using unparliamentarily language against President Asif Ali Zardari. "Our friends from Punjab have lost their mental balance. I fear they might suffer brain haemorrhage. I pray Allah may give them some sensibility," he said.
He said that the protégés of one dictator made an agreement with the other for running away from the country. It was so ironical that those who attacked the courts were now lecturing us to respect judiciary, he added. He also paid tributes to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and termed her an international figure.
