Police on Wednesday averted a terror bid by defusing a 12 kilogram bomb in Darandi Palosa area. According to the police, the powerful bomb planted in a pressure cooker was under Darandi Palosa Bridge on Samana Road. On receiving the information, a bomb disposal squad reached the site and defused the device.
