Cotton cultivation begins in Punjab, Sindh

Executive Member, Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) Ihsanul Haq said that cotton cultivation had started in Punjab and Sindh. He said that if the weather conditions remained good, the production of cotton would make a new record in the country's history which would not be less than 17 million.
He told the mediamen that in various cities of Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Umer Kot, Hyderabad, Tando Adam, Shadadpur of Sindh and Sahiwal, Muzaffargarh, Pakpatten, Vehari, Faislababd, Bahawalnagar, Bahawapur, Mailsi and Khanewal of Punjab, while Othal and Hub Chowaki of Balochistan, cultivation of cotton had started.
