At least two persons were killed in separate incidents at different parts of metropolis on Saturday. According to police, a bullet-riddled body of a youth was found near Crown Cinema, Maripur Road, in the limits of Kalri police station. The identity of victim was yet to be ascertained while police found his body from Maripur Road. Police said that the recovery was made on the information of locals.
The victim was hit by single bullet on his head and was tied with rope from his neck. Police said victim wore trouser and T-shirt and appeared to be Baloch. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico legal formalities and later moved to Edhi Morgue till identification. A case was registered against unidentified men on the complaint of state.
In another incident, a drowned body of a man was found from Sea View Clifton in the limits of Darakshan police station. The victim, who later identified as Abdul Qadeer son of Noor Mohammad, a resident of Al Noor heights Karim Jee Road Soldier Bazaar, was drowned on Friday.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico legal formalities. Police said the victim was jobless and he might have been committed suicide because of aforesaid reason or might have been drowned while taking sea-bath. Later police handed over his body to the heirs.
