Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday has expressed 'utter disappointment' on President Asif Ali Zardari's speech to the joint session of the parliament, saying that "it was nothing but repetition of mere tall claims." Commenting on the address, the PML-N senior leader Muhammad Pervaiz Malik said that the PML-N had no hope of any positive act from the PPP government.
He expressed grave concern over poor state of economy and said that the government was not taking interest in economic issues confronted to the country. He said the country was facing worst load shedding while the electricity tariff had been constantly on the rise. He further said that the government was printing currency notes of more than one and half billion every day due to which caused sharp rise in inflation rate instead of coming down. He added that during the four years of the PPP led coalition government, corruption, unemployment and prices had touched new heights and the country's economy had been ruined due to wrong policies.
