Pak-German joint venture for International Exhibitions in Pakistan
Pegasus Consultancy, a leading exhibitions and event management company of Pakistan, has joined hands with FairtradeMesse of Germany having 20 years of experience in organising international exhibitions and conferences in various countries like Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Algeria, Morocco and Iran through its active marketing network, spread over 12 countries.
The ceremony took place at Sheraton Hotel, between Pegasus and Fair-trade in the presence of government officials, foreign diplomats, chamber of commerce, along with high ranking dignitaries and eminent businessmen from Pakistan.
At this occasion, the Chief Guest, Martin Lotzer, Commercial Counsellor of the Federal Republic of Germany was present with other guests of honour Saifuddin N. Zoomkawala, President Pakistan German Business Forum, Mian Abrar Ahmad, President Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, A.R. Daudpotta, Deputy Trade Commissioner of Italian Trade Commission, Ms Monika Schadel, Senior Project Manager, M/s Fair-trade-Messe, David Wang, Managing Director, Massbetter Exhibition & Conference, Dominick Rzepka, Head of Marketing and PR Aasim Siddiqui, Chairman Pegasus Consultancy said Germany is the birth place of Trade Fairs and Exhibitions which makes a substantial contribution to their national economy. We are very pleased to be embarking on this joint venture with our partner Fair-trade. We hope the rich experience of both Pegasus Consultancy &Fairtrade will bring about new opportunities for the industry to establish and strengthen business ties with local and international business community.

At this occasion, President KCCI, Mian Abrar Ahmed, reiterated the commitment of the chamber to support and develop industrial base in Pakistan, and appreciated the efforts of exhibitions and tradeshow organisers in establishing business network with the foreign markets.
