In a written reply, Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim said that 5,775 vehicles were imported in fiscal year 2007-08, 2,708 in 2008-09, 1,970 in 2009-10, 2,020 in 2010-11 and 720 up to October 2011. Maximum vehicles were imported from Japan and the figure stood at 10461 during the said period.

However, the reply of year-wise total number of bullet proof vehicles imported during the last three years could not received. To another written reply, the minister told the house that an amount of $ 100.5 million has been earned from the export of kinno during the year 2010-11.
