A delegation of electronic and print media of Turkey accompanied the Mayor of Istanbul Dr Kadir Topbas visited various places of the provincial metropolis. They witnessed special exhibition on Turkey arranged by Punjab Information and Culture Department in Lahore Museum and expressed keen interest in photographs and paintings on the culture of Turkey. Members of Turkish media also did shopping in Neela Gumbad and Anarkali.
While talking to the people, they said that they had heard about the hospitality of Lahorites but today they have seen it. One of the media members while talking in Urdu said "Lahore, Lahore Aey".
Citizens of Lahore warmly welcomed members of Turk media at various places and were dancing. The workers of Pakistan Muslim League-N carrying big portraits of Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif raised slogans of "Muslim League Zindabad, Punjab Hakumat Paindabad" and were dancing on the beat of drums.
