Day and night time will be equal in Pakistan with 12 hours night and 12 hours day on Monday, as sunset on March 12 would be at 18:10 PST and sun rise on 13 March at 06:14 PST, Met office said here on Sunday. It said minimum temperature in Lahore on Sunday was recorded 9.4C and maximum 27C while highest temperature in Punjab was 28.8C at Noorpur Thal and the lowest temperature 2.9C was recorded at Jhelum.
Kalam was the coldest place with minus 4.5 C temperature whereas Mir Pur Khas was the hottest city with the temperature rising to 33.5 C on Sunday.
In its daily weather forecast, the Met Office said thunderstorm/rain with snowfall over the hill is expected at isolated places of Quetta, Zhob, Malakand, Hazara, Bannu and Rawalpindi divisions including Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Mainly dry weather will occur elsewhere in the country.
