Bomb rumours at Karachi University cause panic

Published Updated

Panic gripped Karachi University on Friday following rumours about bomb within the campus. According to details, students were ordered to vacate the campus immediately after rumours that a bomb was planted within the university area. However, SHO Mobina Town Khan Muhammad Sheikh rejected the news, saying that tension gripped the university after a skirmish between two students' groups.
Moreover, he was of the view that the rumours might have been spread to avert any untoward incident before a planned clash between Jamiat Tulba and APMSO. Therefore, the SHO added no official of Bomb Disposal Squad was called for examination of the area.
