Senior journalist Syed Nadeem-ul-Hassan, who is working with Business Recorder & AAJ group, was robbed of his belongings by two armed dacoits at Onkar Road in Krishan Nagar area in the wee hours on Thursday. The dacoits tortured on Hassan and hit him with the pistol butt while looting him.
They took away Hassan's camera, cash and cell phone on gunpoint. Robberies have become frequent in Krishan Nagar and the adjacent areas for quite some time. Journalists have demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and police high up to take notice of the incident.
