Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 45.83 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,897.64 to 2,851.81 points. The overall turnover amounted to 167,920 shares as compared to previous turnover of 69,730 shares.
Total 135 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (60) closed in negative territory, 75 landed in plus column and no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 40,250 shares. The volume of Dewan Salman Fibres was 28,000 shares. The turnover of Fauji Cement was 26,000 shares.
