Exporters' buying pushes guwar rates higher

Strong demand by exporters pushed the guwar prices sharply higher on the wholesale grain market on Saturday, dealers said. On the cereal side, panic buying of guwar by exporters pushed the rates sharply higher in Sindh and Punjab rose by Rs 5000 to Rs 24000 and Rs 25000, gur prices went up sharply on strong demand as low type gained Rs 400 to 4400 and best quality was higher by Rs 500 to Rs 5500.
