Condemning the desecration of Holy Quran in Afghanistan, members of trading community held a protest demonstration outside the Peshawar Press Club here on Saturday. The demonstrators led by Khalid Ayub, Tajir Ittehad, University Town Peshawar were holding placards and banners inscribed Anti-American slogans, demanding of the government to sever diplomat ties with US and its alliance states.
Talking to reporters, Khalid Ayub said the act was strongly condemnable and unbearable for Muslims. He said the incident hurt the sentiment of Muslims around the World, adding all religious preaches tolerance, peace and affection. "We will not tolerate any move against the religion, he warned, adding the Muslims world would strongly react against such incident in future. He urged the Muslims States to be united against anti-Islam forces, and also demanded of the government to snap diplomatic ties with US and summoned its envoy against the incident.
