Sindh police on Friday booked the son of Chief Minister Balochistan Yadgar Raisani along with 17 other persons over the charge of drunken quarrel with the law enforcers. According to police sources, the jangle was witnessed at Defence Phase V, Khayaban-e-Shaheen where the accused person along with 17 other friends, who came in three jeeps, engaged in a brawl near the residence of former provincial home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza in boozy condition.
Following this boisterous party, two law enforcers including ASI Ghulam Hussain and head constable Liaquat intercepted them making the place bedlam. Resultantly, two persons, who introduced themselves as Yadgar Raisani, son of CM Balochistan and Mir Hussain, came out of the jeep and scuffled with the law enforcers. They said the troublemakers have not only beaten the policemen but also snatched weapons from them. Later, they ran away from the scene and threw police weapons from the jeeps on the arrival of more contingents.
The police said the case 86/12 has been registered against Yadgar, Mir and 16 others on the complaint of ASI Ghulam Hussain in Dharakshan police station. No arrest was made till filing of this report.
