The textile ministry is not satisfied with the Cabinet decision of giving approval to the negative list of items to be imported from India. The ministry will raise the issue with the high authorities, if the reservations were not addressed, it is reliably learnt.
"We are waiting for the detailed decision of the Cabinet which is likely to be received by Wednesday. After looking into the language of the decision, the ministry will raise the issue with the high authorities," sources said. Despite the strong reservations of the textile and some other ministries, the Cabinet on February 28, 2012 approved negative list and decided to move towards normalisation of trade with India.
