District Coor-dination Officer Lahore Ahad Khan Cheema said that all necessary arrangements have been made by the City District government to cope with the possible attack of dengue in the city and administration of every town has been directed to make sure the implementation of dengue regulations. And take actions according to the law against violators.
DCO Lahore stated that notices are being issued to tyre-shops at town level and they have been instructed not to keep tyres in open places. He said that food department of City District Government has been directed to implement precautionary measures and survey of hotels, restaurants, wedding halls and caterers. This survey is being conducted on daily basis. He said that the employees of hotels, restaurants, wedding halls and caterers performing their duties for preparing and presenting food would submit their medical certificates. He said that the recruitment of spray-men and baildars is to be completed this week. And, he said that town administration is taking all steps to control the possible attack of dengue at Union Council level.
