KSE to de-list 21 companies

The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) intends to de-list some 21 listed companies. In a notice, the KSE on Thursday informed these 21 companies are under process of liquidation or liquidators have been appointed, and trading in the shares of the companies' remains suspended. The Exchange, in the interest of investors' protection and in pursuance of the Listing Regulation, intends to now de-list these companies.
The KSE notified for the information of concerned Liquidators and the companies that, if they have any objection to the proposed de-listing of these companies, they must inform the Exchange in writing within 14 days of publication of this notice, otherwise the Exchange in compliance with the Regulation will go ahead and take action of de-listing of the following 21 companies: Adil Polypropylene Products Limited, Awan Textile Mills Limited, Bahawalpur Textile Mills Limited, Bela Engineering Limited, Colony Woollen Mills Limited, Crescent Spinning Mills Limited, First Tawakkal Modaraba, Harnai Woollen Mills Limited, Junaid Cotton Mills Limited, Karim Silk Mills Limited, Kausar Paints Limited, Modern Textile Mills Limited, Muslim Ghee Mills Limited, Pak Fibre Industries Limited, Pakistan Dairies Limited, Qayyum Spinning Limited, Saitex Spinning Mills Limited, Sind Alkalis Limited, Tariq Cotton Mills Limited, Tawakkal Limited and Tri-Star Shipping Lines Limited.
